Executive Director

Priscilla Chatham is honored to serve as the Executive Director of Woodbridge Montessori Academy of Rockwall, a role she has held since 2019. With a career spanning 28 years in early childhood education, Priscilla's journey began as a lead toddler teacher, igniting a passion that has only flourished over time.

Transitioning to an assistant director in 2005, Priscilla swiftly progressed to Director, armed with a non-expiring Director's Credential from the State of Texas. Throughout her 15-year tenure in Montessori education, she has developed a profound appreciation for its methodology, prioritizing the child's interests while respecting their individuality.

Priscilla finds true joy in working directly with teachers, children, and parents to help them achieve their goals. She is deeply committed to early childhood education, creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, and eager to learn.

Communication is paramount to Priscilla, and she is enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families. Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her three grown children, who have blessed her with four precious grandchildren. As a native Texan, Priscilla is dedicated to fostering a supportive and enriching early learning environment for her community.

Priscilla is genuinely excited to collaborate with families in creating an enriching learning experience that nurtures the unique potential of each child. Her role as a "Nonny" to her grandchildren has translated to the school, where students also affectionately call her Nonny. Together, they can embark on a transformative journey in early childhood education, fostering growth and development in the hearts and minds of future leaders.

Program Director

As the Program Director at Woodbridge Montessori Academy in Rockwall, Becky Chreene brings a distinguished blend of leadership and credentials to her role. With over a decade of experience in directing, including overseeing one of Texas's largest early childhood education centers, Becky's tenure reflects her exceptional aptitude for organizational management and program development.

Her journey in education spans almost 25 years, with six years dedicated to teaching in early childhood education. Specializing in nurturing three-year-olds, Becky's passion for fostering foundational learning experiences is evident in her every endeavor. Drawing inspiration from a familial lineage entrenched in education, Becky's commitment to fostering collaborative environments is deeply ingrained.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Becky finds joy in her personal life. A proud Texas native, she celebrates a quarter-century marriage to her high school sweetheart, alongside the blessing of three daughters and a beloved grandchild. An avid lover of animals, Becky and her family share a passion for Winnie dogs and regularly engage in outdoor activities like fishing and camping.

Becky's dedication to excellence and her warm and nurturing approach ensure that Woodbridge Montessori Academy remains a place where children learn and thrive. Under her guidance, the Academy continues to foster an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Shanon Klecka

Shanon Klecka

Education Director

With a Childhood Development Associate Degree and a Montessori Administrator Certification, Shannon brings a deep understanding of child development and early education administration to her role as the Education Director at Woodbridge Montessori Academy of Rockwall.

With over 15 years in early childhood education and administration, Shannon has held various roles across multiple states, including Assistant Center Director and Special Needs Paraprofessional. She has a strong background in classroom management, staff mentorship, and day-to-day operations in early learning environments. Her past roles have included oversight of center operations, mentoring educators, guiding special education students, and handling complex administrative tasks. Shannon’s breadth of experience, coupled with her knowledge of state licensing requirements and skills in de-escalating challenging situations, enables her to provide valuable support and foster a welcoming environment for families and staff alike.

Shannon lives locally with her husband of over 10 years, three beloved dogs, and a cat. She loves spending quality time in her backyard with her dogs, enjoying the simple pleasures of barbecuing and unwinding in nature. Long walks are a favorite pastime, providing her with the chance to relax and connect with the world around her. Known for her warm personality and a love for animals, Shannon finds joy in the everyday moments she shares with her family, both human and furry alike.
